The Paris Motor Sho is a biennial auto show. Held around October, it is one of the most important auto shows, often with many new production automobile and concept cars. This year pavilion n.8 was holding a special exhibition of cars and fashion relation. The exhibition sequence follows the timeline of the great eras which have left their mark both on the history of Automobiles and of Fashion from the end of the Industrial Revolution up until now.
One outstading collaboration was Alcantara and Manish Arora: the Indian Designer has composed a magnificent art installation titled “Life is Beautiful”, created with different Alcantara materials which are the result of a unique, proprietary technology.
Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Lexus, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz… It was difficult just to choose one!
El Salón Mundial del Automóvil es una feria bienal en París. Celebrada el mes de Octubre, es uno de los salones del automóvil más importantes del mundo, a menudo con muchos coches concepto y nuevas producciones. Este año el pabellón nº 8 estaba dedicado a una exposición especial sobre la relación entre los coches y la moda. La exposición sigue la línea temporal de las grandes épocas que han dejado su huella tanto en la historia de los automóviles como de la moda desde el final de la Revolución Industrial hasta ahora.
Una colaboración sorprendente fue la de Alcantara y Manish Arora: el diseñador indio ha compuesto una magnifica instalación de arte titulada “La vida es bella”, creada con diferentes materiales de Alcantara que son el resultado de una tecnología única y patentada.
