Roatan- Las Palmas Beach

Greetings from Las Palmas Beach. A nice and relaxing resort on Roatan Island. We were sunbathing all morning. We also took a boat trip through the beautiful mangroves of Roatan and visited the Dixon Cove wreck, heritage of the Bay Islands and an interesting diving spot.  The story tells that in the 70s a storm helped the ship to be stranded inside the channel, and in an attempt to rescue the ship all the wood being carried was offloaded. There are many rumors claiming that the ships where closely related to the Nicaraguan “Sandinista” revolution, what brings mistery to the history behind this shipwreck. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thank you for your comments =)
